Then there was the drone heavy play through. The next was hacker skill focused and sneaky. One play through was with a group of timid noob hackers who kept getting arrested, hospitalized or killed and kept needing new recruits. The protagonist is the group, and the group grows and “levels up” (with tech points and unlocks) but the bad guys are much more developed than the protagonists.
The most often repeated criticism is the lack of a single strong protagonist: one who levels up and grows to face harder challenges. The world is beautiful, the gameplay and problem solving options are diverse, Bagley is hilarious, and there are a ton of hidden things to find. My copy came with my GPU but I did buy the DLC. I actually think it may have gotten a lot more popular if it was on Steam to begin with, but it was a buggy mess at launch.
